Oh how the mighty have aged.

Gwen Stefani is 35, read it and wheep, it's not a misprint.

35, Thirty-Five, Trenta-Siete.

The young vibrant figure which I envied so much is now 5 years away from being 40. It makes me feel old. Watch the Sunday Morning video and tell me that is not human perfection. But I saw the lastest video "What you talkin' about," and she still looks damn good. The music however burns every fiber of my soul. This whole half hiphop/half sucking thing really needs to go.

A few of my favorites for the road:

More Pathetic Holidays

Well Thanksgiving was quite lonely and uneventful. Everyone was out of town, where I sat at home and played Halo and ate Jack in the Box. My birthday is this weekend, not really looking forward to it, I'll be lucky if anyone remembers. It's not like I have any plans or something. Well I'll quit whining until my next post.

I went to the Warriors game tonight, got a Dunleavy jersey, it's rediculous they only have 3 kinds of jeresys come on. They lost, again, like usual. I'm glad school is finally winding down, its crazy but we only have a couple weeks left. I need to get writing on my screenplay, but I keep thinking about other ideas and delaying my progress on the current idea. I messed up my ankle pretty bad today, aside from the regular aches and pains of being big and playing sports, I rolled over my ankle, and now have trouble putting weight on it, making me more gimpy then usual.

We had In n Out for dinner, jesus christ that stuff is made of liquid jesus, or solid for the specific parts. I'd be even huger then I am right now if we had one of them nearby. Speaking of huger or non-words, I enjoy making up words, in my latest screenplay I keep using made up words to describe actions or sounds, its quite fun. I also have an article that I've been writing in preperation for my next screenplay on the subject of survival and humanist characteristics. Maybe I'll throw it up here when I'm done.

Goodnight those who read this... Me.

A Media day

I went and saw "Sideways" yesterday. It's been getting some pretty rediculous reviews. I thought it was good but no where near great. It's really hard to appriciate a film for a film, after taking a film class, and most importantly a screenwriting class. During the film, I keep thinking, hey that scene was too long, they could've trimmed that diologue down quite a bit, thast scene was entierly pointless, why didn't I think of that. It's the sort of ignorance is bliss thing. If you've seen it, the scene with the wallet and the ugly naked guy is an absolute classic. I'd reccommend it if you really needed to find a movie to see, but deffenently can wait until DVD.

Speaking of screenwriting there's this huge fiasco in my class with this kid whom is stealing my screenplay, we finally confronted him this week, and he felt all victamaized and ganged up on. I'm like dude, wait a second, you're the one stealing my shit. But whatever, he won't sell his or anything.

Also while out last night I picked up a few CD's; Aesop Rock - Labor Days, Deathcab for Cutie - Something about Airplaines, and Electric Light Orchestra - A New World Record. I bough Bazooka Tooth a few months ago, and liked the style but not really the album, Mauldie suggested this one, and from my priliminary listening, first few tracks, I really do like it. I love Postal Service, and Transatlantacisim, so I thought I'd pick up one of Deathcab's older albums. The other was some cheap 80's band that my dad recommended to me. It was like six bucks.

I finished my Christmas Shopping, and am very proud. I'm the kind of guy thats watching TV, and goes... oh shit. It's christmas Eve. I think I'm gonna get going now, and everyone ends up with a Shrek watch, or a Novelty Teddybear. But this time, it'll all be different.

Pencils and Parking Permits

So for once in my life, I think I'm doing well in all of my classes. I almost got an "A" on my meterology class, which is good since I studied my ass off for that class. I missed Sociology and Recent American History the other day due to a faulty alarm clock. But that shouldn't set me back month, I'm sitting on B's in that class which is good. I'm taking an acting class during winter session which should be alright. I need to take a class and its offerend in the afternoon and I need it towards transferring credit, which might be happening next fall... shit! I'm super nervous and excited about getting off to school, and getting the hell out of this place. Putting in aplications to SFSU, Sonoma State, Cal Poly, and Humboldt, we'll see what happens. That's actually probably my order of disirability.

I swear I'm not Emo.

So I'm giving this blog thing another try. I've always failed, but I like the versatility of this blogspot. Hopfully getting some photos on here and such, maybe some of my stories and all that good stuff. I hope to update this atleast every other day, and if I'm not hit me in the face and tell me to do so.
